My name is Carrie James

I have worked with dogs for 20 years and spent my childhood in the company of many different pets including dogs and horses. After trying out a few different jobs within the pet care industry and working at various kennel facilities,  I found my niche in obedience training where I could put my love for dogs toward really helping them. I use my years of observing and working with dogs along with absorbing all I can from the many wonderful trainers I have worked with to assist people in understanding the relationship they have with their dogs. I believe it is through understanding and a fresh perspective that we can learn to teach our beloved canines to better fit into our families and deepen the connection with these amazing creatures.

No two dogs are exactly alike.
I believe that many trainers get stuck in a cookie cutter approach to training. In my experience a solution which works with one family may not work for another so having an open mind to new ideas is the key to success. I am commited to finding the right fit for every dog. There are far too many dogs living in households who cannot appreciate them due to the frustrating behaviors they may be displaying. My wish is to help each family bring out the best in their pets, helping the dog to become a true member of the family.
